Oracle Apps R12 Forms Not Opening on Linux

The forms for Oracle Apps EBS R12 may not open for many reasons.

If you are using Firefox browser then one reason is that the Firefox version may be higher than the recommended(3.0.18) Firefox version.So please make sure that you have installed the recommended Firefox.


Follow below steps to find out:-


1.Steps to Install JRE 5.0 Linux(32-bit)

2.Uninstall any previous installations of Java Plug-in.

[root@linux1 /]# cd /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

[root@linux1 plugins]# rm -rf libjavaplugin_oji.so



3.For the Mozilla browser create a symbolic link to the Plug-in in the Mozilla plugins directory.

[root@linux1 plugins]# ln -s /usr/java/jre1.5.0_10/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so .


4.Now Restart your Firefox Browser and login in to Oracle EBS R12.

Issue must be resolved!
